The base education that I received from this high school has remained with me through out my entire life time. The basics were always covered, but the wonderful teachers opened our eyes to the great possiblities out in the world. We always felt worldly, knowledgable and confident. that in this writers opinion is the key to dealing with the world and the very best education that could be provided. I thank thes staff and I recommend this school to anyone;

Great school that gives each and every student exactly what they need to succeed in academics & life in general. A very small district (especially for LI) that gives personal attention to all the students. Everyone knows everyone else. There are a lot of programs for the students, including a pool.

With regard to the November 2011 post, having children in the three grades that you mention, I couldn't disagree more. I have yet to see significant learning disabilities in their classes. I truly have no idea what you are talking about when you say that. My children excel in their work as do a majority of the students (state tests scores well above local areas). Students who require additional help receive it. I don't know how you could even fault the school for providing additional reading and math help to students who need it. The same thing occurs in public school. At least here, your child is noticed and helped rather than the school saying that your child does not perform poorly enough and there are more kids that need help first like what happens in public school. My children are by far ahead academically than their public friends. In addition to the regular classes, our children have Spanish, Choir, Music, Religion, Handwriting (including script - cut from public), art (cut from public school lower grades). The children are the essence of this school. My children's friends are all respectful, polite, caring and have forged a strong bond with each other.
