Hamilton is a wonderful school that celebrates each child's individual skills. The honors programs and small class sizes are a real plus. Quite a few new teachers who are energized and passionate about their subject matter. Excellent communication with parents.

I am proud to be a parent of two ESD students. The curriculum is strong and the teachers are personable with great class sizes and student attention at the elementary level. There is not a greast deal of good publicity that this school district gets and I think that it is a shame. There is too much negative hearsay about the climate and make-up of the schools from people who do not know first hand. I don't know what people are afraid of when they decide not to send their children to ESD. I pulled my kids from an area parochial school because of the outdated curriculum there. Anyone who knows anything about education understands that teh ESD is a good place to be and moving forward in the right direction. Kudos to students and staff of ESD.!

Elmsford is one of the few districts in lower Westchester County that has a public pre-k program. And what a wonderful program it is. It is my understanding that the current teacher has been teaching pre-k at Dixson for years and over that time has developed a well rounded, highly enriched beginning education for 4 year olds. I've had first hand experience with the pre-k program and have watched my child thrive in this environment.

This is a great school. Teachers, Parents and Staff all work together to provide a fantastic learning environment. The school is on the leading edge of technology ( smartboards, wifi, internet filtering, video conferencing) OLMC has a strong Parents Guild which provides support to the school in many areas. Teachers incorporate technology and traditional learning to provide a well balanced learning experience. I recommend this school to anyone who wants the best education for their children.
