Mills Pond is a great school. Academically it has every benefit you could want for your children. The class sizes are slightly higher than average (20-22), but the learning environment is ideal in every other way. The teachers are exceptional; the classrooms are well equipped; there is a sense of pride that comes from a clean, respectful, cheerful environment; and the test scores are excellent. The school provides an excellent foundation in music, art, and sports. The only thing more impressive than the students and the staff is the parents. Parental involvement is impressive - everyone shows up to meetings, programs, and special events. This is a great school.

The academics are extremely strong and the kids have high moral standards. My son has been in the school for three years and I have seen his steady progress from a kid with little concentration span and little interest in his studies to an A student. The class sizes are admittedly not small but the teachers and staff are excellent. The entire school is like a nice big family and Mr G, the principal is passionate and amazing. Highly recommended!

The teachers are very dedicated to making sure that the kids get the attention they deserve and are able provide them with extra help without hesistation. My kids have had a great experience there so far and I am looking forward to the years coming

Harbor is truly an exception independent day school. As an educator who began teaching in the public sector before moving onto the independent school world, I can say with certainty that there is simply no comparison between the two educational models. All of my children attended Harbor Country Day School and benefited greatly from the warmth, academic integrity and intellectual enthusiasm that is the essence of Harbor s teaching methodology. My children were all quite different in terms of interests/capabilities and the faculty at Harbor met each of them where they stood. Without exception, the teachers knew how to artfully promote improvement, celebrate strengths, and bolster self-confidence. As a parent, I knew my children were safe, flourishing and supported. And in the off chance that an issue emerged, I could always count on Harbor to immediately contact me about the situation.

I once attended Knox in my senior year. It really helps relieve the stress of going into college and the teachers and students are all quite nice.

SUPPORTIVE AND DEDICATED TEACHERS, GREAT OPPORTUNITIES FOR BEING MENTORED, INTERNSHIPS IN REAL WORLD WORK PLACES, AND LOTS OF AP CLASSES WITH TEACHERS WHO LOVE TEACHING; ALSO VERY GOOD SPORTS PROGRAMS WITH COACHES WHO ENCOURAGE AND MENTOR KIDS AS TO OUTSIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR FURTHER DEVELOPING THEIR ABILITIES. WELL ROUNDED PROGRAM.

This school is like my 2nd home to me. So many ntice people there and you are surronded by love and funny times. Sometimes if something bad is going on anywhere when i am not in school i wish i was there sitting and talking with my friends. sitting and listening to all the funny times just dreaming and there is no better school then this i promise you there is none. Yes some schools may be bigger but our school is small so we can feel the love.
