I sent both of my children to St. Patrick s. The education was exceptional. I found the teachers to be very concerned about their students especially in the lower grades. Their Pre-K and Kindergarten programs are wonderful and their teachers are caring and loving. I would definitely recommend St. Patrick s School.

Benjamin Franklin is a wonderful school full of excellent teachers. I currently have 3rd graders and a Kindergartner and could not be any happier. Having my children gone all day is hard, but knowing they are in a loving, caring and nurturing environment makes the transition that much easier.

I have read most of the comments on this page and to the people who say that this school is bad, I highly disagree. The schedule is actually very good. The 'teams' for each grade level provide less work for the teachers and more order. Even if you aren't on the same team as your friends, there is a high chance that you will have lunch, i-core or another non-team based class with them. The teachers don't give a lot of homework and they usually give 5 or so minutes at the end of class to start it. Most of the time I'm done before I get home. If your child is failing it is because they don't apply himself/herself. The school isn't that big and after a few days, you get the hang of d location of classes. One problem is that the day is from 9:15 to 4:35.

I love the teachers and the parent participation. They make sure that learning is a joint effort between school and parents. They have realistic expectations of how students should perform and behave but they give those same students the drive to be their very best.

I have 2 children in Brookside. Their experience has been nothing but a positive one. The principal, teachers and staff work together to give the students and terrfic learning experience. My children are motivated and love going to school everyday. Parents are a welcomed part of this school.

It is a really great school. I have nothing but great experiences with the principal and the teachers. There is plenty of parent involvement. In fact I have had more parent involvement in Crompond than in any other school my kids have attended. It is all that I expect from an excellent school and more!

The school is the best, it actually got a blue ribbon award, the teachers are great, funny, and really challenge us. It is very easy to get in touch with them. It is almost a progressive school the way the classes are taught in the higher grades. It also has a really good special ed dept. There are really good sports teams that the 8th graders can participate in and the 8th graders can also take some academic classes in the high school. The facilities are great, there is a whole new sunny wing with big lockers. The pool isn't disgusting anymore, in fact, they just renovated the pool and locker rooms and they are AMAZING! There are laptops for everyone and smart boards in every math, science, social studies, english, and language classroom. All of the people are nice, no snobby people that you usually find in Westchester.

My experience with Mohansic School has been a truly wonderful experience for myself and both of my kids. The principal & teachers have been nothing short of perfect! It truly is a 'special place', and I am glad to be apart of it!!!!!!!!!!

Both of my kids have gone through the Yorktown school system. My son is about to graduate from college and my daughter is a senior at YHS and she is making her college choice now. Many AP and Honors classes are available, great sports, and and I can't say enough about the incredible music program in all of the schools. Parents of course need to be involved and it is encouraged. We are all pleased with the results!!
